Erin Bonsai: Bonsai and Bonsai Pots For Sale

Bonsai Information

The key to successful cultivation of a bonsai is the soil it is planted in and good watering technique.
Too many bonsai sold at garden centres and nurseries are planted in poor quality soil that makes the health of the bonsai very difficult to maintain. This can often lead to dead bonsai and causes disappointment.

Here at Erin bonsai, it is our aim to sell good quality, healthy trees and for this reason, all of our trees are planted in top quality, free-draining soil to ensure their good health is maintained after despatch to the customer.

Watering your new bonsai correctly is very easy as long as the following method is used:

  • Check the soil daily to see if watering is needed.
  • If the soil has begun to dry out (it will have slowly started to turn a lighter colour), gently pour tap water onto the surface of the soil using a watering can until excess water runs out of the drainage holes in the base of the pot.
  • NEVER let the soil dry out.
